Founder and CEO of 91热爆 Training, Andrew Cooksley, has joined 鈥檚 new Public Value Entrepreneurs in Residence (PVEiR) scheme which aims to support the school with its goal to encourage innovative and entrepreneurial thinking.

One of six successful entrepreneurs selected from a competitive application process for the scheme, Andrew is joined by Allan Meek of SCS Group, Yaina Samuels from NuHi Training, Zo毛-Lisa Blackler of The Blacker Group, and Eifion and Amanda Griffiths from Melin Tregwynt.

They will work with the students and graduates to help nurture promising start-ups, offering advice and guidance to budding young entrepreneurs.

The six entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to collaborate with Cardiff Business School staff in fields such as strategic business leadership, entrepreneurship, social enterprise and innovation.

This knowledge exchange is an exciting opportunity for both the entrepreneurs and academics to work alongside each other to develop new concepts and ideas surrounding business education, innovation, research and engagement.

Andrew Cooksley聽commented: 鈥淭his is a great opportunity to support and nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs. I want to engage Cardiff鈥檚 Business students and hopefully inspire them to realise that life as an entrepreneur is a brilliant one.

鈥淚鈥檓 also looking forward to bringing highly successful entrepreneurs to the school to share their stories with the students.鈥

Professor Martin Kitchener, Dean of Cardiff Business School, added: 鈥淚鈥檓 very much looking forward to welcoming our inaugural entrepreneurs in residence to the School on 5 December 2017 [鈥 I am eager to introduce the entrepreneurs to our progressive聽聽and anticipate opportunities to hear their advice on its development.鈥
