All staff and learners within the 91Èȱ¬Ìýnetwork are invited to enter our Welsh SkillsÌýCompetition.
Combine your creative skillsÌýand passion for being Welsh (or living inÌýWales) in one of the following categories:

  • Photography – Take a photo of something orÌýsomeone that sums up Wales in just one image.
  • Creative Writing – Fancy yourself as the next DylanÌýThomas? Write a short story, poem, pen portrait of aÌýfamous person or even a joke.ÂÌýYour written entryÌýcan be in either Welsh or English.
  • Welsh Bake Off – Like cakes? Love cooking?ÌýCombine both and make a Welsh themed cake! YouÌýcan use all Welsh ingredients or make a decorativeÌýcake which captures the country you live in.
  • Vocational Skills – Create something inspired byÌýWales using the amazing skills you have learned viaÌýyour route. How about a Wales themed hair design?ÂÌýA handmade item that you’ve constructed yourselfÌýlike a wooden dragon? Or what about spray paintingÌýa car with a Wales inspired motif (with permission ofÌýcourse!)? Whatever you decide, track the progressÌýfrom beginning to end by taking photographs of theÌýprocess and the final product.
  • Performance – Always wanted to go on to Britain’sÌýGot Talent?! Be creative and send us a film of yourÌýWelsh performance. You could film yourself singingÌýor miming a song, performing a scene from a play,Ìýrapping or dancing – use your hidden talent andÌýwow us.
Entries for all categories must be sent via email toÌýproudtobewelsh@acttraining.org.uk along with your name, telephone number, training provider and name of your tutor. If youÌýare a member of staff please send through your job title.

Welsh Bake Off: Please make sure that all entries for the Welsh Bake Off areÌýat Ocean Park House by 3:30pm on Monday 2 March in an air tight container.
